Shields finished his championship at 19 months with 3 majors, a BOB/group placement and
won Best in Sweeps at the Greater Atlanta LRC supported entry.  As a Special, Shields won
BOB five out of 7 days on the Florida Winter Circuit.  He  earned both his CD & Rally Novice title in one weekend, owner trained & handled by Laurie.

In July Laurie began to compete with Shields in the National Owner Handled Series. By October Shields was ranked #4 in the country and was invited to compete in the NOHS Finals at the Eukanuba Championship in Orlando where he & Laurie won Best of Breed. To date Shields has earned 20 - BOBs, 6 - BOS, 18 - Selects, & 3 group placements including a Group 1. He is now training to earn his Junior Hunter title.
